  1. Tap on your Collection, e.g. French.
  2. Tap "Import Cards."
  3. Tap on one of the three options:
    • My Quizlet Sets — allows you to look at your sets specifically. Note that it may take a minute or two for your newest sets to display.
    • Browse Quizlet — allows you to browse through Quizlet's massive database of available card sets.
    • Search Quizlet — allows you to search Quizlet for any term, and sort sets by date, most studied, and alphabetical.
  4. Tap on the set you would like to import. The cards will download immediately and you will be able to import them after they have downloaded.

How to Back Up Your Cards with Dropbox

Your flash cards are important. That's why we built an innovative backup system that takes advantage of the excellent Dropbox platform to allow you to backup your cards in the cloud and on your local computer. Here's how:

  1. Tap on "Backup & Restore" at the bottom-right of the main screen.
  2. Tap on "Link Dropbox" to set up FlashCards++ with Dropbox. If you do not have a Dropbox account, you can create a free account directly in the app. After typing in your e-mail address and password, FlashCards++ will remember that you have linked your Dropbox for a very long time. (To unlink your dropbox, tap on "Settings" and then "Unlink Dropbox.")
  3. You will see that there are no current backups. Tap "Backup Now" to begin your first backup. You will find that this backup is stored in the "FlashCards++ Backups" folder in your Dropbox.
  4. If you set up Dropbox on your local computer, your backups will also be downloaded automatically to your hard drive.

I recommend you back up your flash cards at least once a week. Here's how to restore a backup:

  1. Firstly, I recommend that you back up your current flash cards before trying to restore an older version. Just in case  something breaks (though it shouldn't). You just can't be careful enough.
  2. Tap on the specific backup you'd like to restore.
  3. Tap on "Restore Backup Now," and tap the alert to confirm.
  4. The backup will download immediately, and will replace your current flash cards with the restored backup.
